USS IOWA Events

The USS IOWA is open to the public every weekend from 10 am to 4 pm at Pier 3 at the Port of Richmond, CA. The Battleship Expo includes a visit on board IOWA and numerous exhibits and displays that include a Sheridan tank, a movie on the IOWA, a gift shop, a Blue Angel cockpit and other rotating exhibits.

Please be aware of the following requirements when visiting the USS IOWA while in Richmond:

• The USS Iowa is currently unable to accommodate visitors on board that are unable to walk unassisted. However, there are plenty of shore side exhibits that can be viewed.
• Children must be accompanied by an adult at all times. Adults need to be aware of steep brow, brow step at top, steel protrusions and deck unevenness and take the proper steps to keep children aware at all times.
• Children 10 and under must be accompanied by one adult per child on the ship tour.
• Appropriate footwear must be worn at all times on board the USS Iowa. No heels or open toed shoes permitted.
• Appropriate clothing is required. No shirts, no shoes, no boarding.
• No pets permitted onboard, unless service animals.
• Visitors appearing to be intoxicated will be denied boarding.
